Dr. Victor Hugo Alves Okazaki
Professor of the Physical Education Department at the Londrina State University. Graduated on Physical Education (UFPR-1999-2002), Specialist on Sports Training (Dom Bosco-2002-2003), Specialist on Ergonomics (UFPR-2002-2003), Master in Biomechanics (UFPR-2004-2006), and PhD in Human Biodynamic (USP-2006-2009). Research leader of the Laboratory of Teaching and Research on Biomechanics and Research leader of the Motor Neuroscience Research Group. His main research fields include Motor Behavior and Biomechanics, with emphasis on Motor Learning, Motor Control, Laterality, Intersegmental Coordination, Biomechanics of Sports and Instrumentation on Biomechanics. Member of the Brazilian Society of Motor Behavior, author of more than hundred publication including original articles, reviews, book chapters, and technological products. Reviewer of more than twenty specialized research journals. Developed several software for the analysis of Motor Control, Biomechanics and Signal Processing. Developed technological instruments for the analysis of human movement (electronic gloves, analog-to-digital adaptor, instable platform for balance analysis, etc.). Advisor of Master and PhD students at Londrina State University.
