Dr. Yang-Hui He
Professor Yang-Hui He received his BA in physics, summa cum Laude, from Princeton University, USA and obtained a Certificates in Advanced studies in Mathematics (Tripos) with Distinction from Cambridge University, UK. He then obtained his PhD in theoretical physics from MIT, USA. After postdoctoral work at the University of Pennsylvannia, he was elected FitzJames Fellow by Merton College, University of Oxford, UK and then an Advanced of the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council. He is currently Reader in mathematics at City University, London, jointly the Chang-Jiang Endowed Chair Professor in physics at Nankai University, China and tutor in mathematics at Merton College, Oxford. Dr. He's specialty is in mathematical physics, especially in the algebraic geometry of string and gauge theories. In this field he has published 94 papers and has held various grants from the US, UK and China to maintain several international collaborations.
